Seaking celebrates 20 years by launching their Wild Alaskan Salmon line

I rarely attend brand and product events lately, but when I do, it’s because I really believe and use that particular product. A good example of this is the 20th anniversary celebration of Seaking.

Superb Catch, Inc., the company behind trusted seafood brand Seaking celebrated its 20th anniversary recently at Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

The siblings who started Seaking 20 years ago were present to commemorate this momentous event with the people who supported them all these years.

Humble beginnings

Wondering how Seaking came to be? The Uy siblings sold bangus (milkfish) from their father’s fishpond. They would debone the fish at home and haul them to supermarkets on their own. Armed with only a small-startup capital, their brand was literally built by their own hands. Through their hard work, resilience, and determination, Seaking has become an industry leader and a household name. And as they say, the rest is history.

During the anniversary celebration, Superb Catch, Inc., launched their Seaking Wild Alaskan Salmon Products and the Makati Shangrila chefs showcased some delectable salmon dishes using their products.

Superb Catch, Inc. follows a strict procedure with the highest product standards to produce quality items.

All salmon are imported from Alaska, wild and not farmed. They are born in rivers, spend their adult lives in the ocean and they feed on fresh shrimp, crab, and krill. This means that you are assured of eating the healthiest type of salmon. Seaking is the first wild salmon retailer in the Philippines offering four (4) cuts of Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon: Chunks, Belly, Steak, and Slab. 

What started as a frozen milkfish business has developed into a full blown seafood line which includes Cream Dory, Squid, Bottled Bangus, and their newest offering — their Wild Alaskan Keta Salmon line.

Seaking products can be found in more than 1,500 supermarkets, restaurants, and hotel chains in the Philippines. Their products are also exported to countries like Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA among others. From a home-based operation back in 1999, their company has grown to encompass a 20,000sqm processing plant which will be fully operational in January 2020.
