Have you seen BonChon’s latest fun and very entertaining TV commercial? If you haven’t yet, you can check it out below. As I was watching it, it reminded me so much of the Cookin’ Nanta – a hilarious musical play performed in the Myeong Dong Nanta Theatre in Seoul Korea where the performers use gestures and common objects as musical instruments.
Here is BonChon’s new TV ad…
Doesn’t that TV ad make your mouth water in eager anticipation? It most certainly made me drool with delight that I just had to bite into a new beat by heading over to BonChon at Shaw Blvd. right away!
On my way to BonChon, I already knew exactly what to order… the BonChon Soy Garlic chicken!
Delicious BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken
No doubt, this BonChon bestseller isn’t new to any of us. The flavorful harmony of crispy crunchy skin and the pleasantly light glaze makes the BonChon Soy Garlic chicken oh so addicting and a thrill to eat! I like hearing the skin of the chicken crunch while eating it. It gives me added “gusto” in every bite.
The crispiness and juiciness of BonChon Soy Garlic chicken is what sets this specialty apart from other fried chicken variants being offered elsewhere.
This K-Style chicken is freshly prepared in the kitchen upon ordering to make sure you only eat the best tasting crispy chicken every single time. In fact, it’s so good that one order of rice is not enough to pair with my chicken. I actually had to order extra rice because I couldn’t stop eating more BonChon Soy Garlic chicken.
You know what they say… “Always save the best for last”! That’s why I leave some of the skin behind and eat it towards the end of my meal. The perfectly thin and deliciously non-greasy skin is always a winner in my book.
Another dish that I enjoyed pairing the BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken with is their new Bibimbowl. I love Bibimbap so much that when I saw that BonChon was now offering their own take on this delicious Korean dish, I made sure not to pass up on the opportunity.
For only Php99.00 (ala carte), you get to choose between a bowl of beef or chicken.
My father-in-law ordered the chicken variant while I, on the other hand, opted for the beef. Mix it all up because the more you mix, the better your Bibimbowl will taste. The beef Bibimbowl had deliciously complex flavors. It was slightly sweet with a tinge of heat, the beef pieces were pleasantly soft, while the nori shreds added so much character to the dish overall. It goes without saying that the Bibimbowl is a complete meal in itself. I enjoyed partnering this dish with the BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken. It is worth noting that the Bibimbowl is also visually attractive.
And because my teenage kids were not with us during this particular dinner, we brought home some BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken for them.
You see, chicken is perhaps our most cooked (or ordered) dish at home. Sometimes when I run out of ideas on what dish to prepare, I always either order for delivery or head over to the nearest food spot and get some take out. Luckily, BonChon is just a 10-minute drive from our place.
Anyways, as soon as we got to the house and upon opening our take home food, I was happily surprised to notice that the skin did not even sog. The BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken still retained that satisfying and flavorful crunch together with its juicy tender meat. Noms!
No doubt, the BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken is quickly becoming a staple for countless people who want great tasting and very affordable food. But it is also equally wonderful that even our teenagers love it as much as we do.
And since good food is always at the center of any fun and memorable gathering, meals over BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken always make for great get-togethers with friends.
So, call your buddies and BFFs and “Bite into a new beat” by indulging on some really delicious BonChon Soy Garlic Chicken.
