Ever since I transferred to Mandaluyong City about 19 years ago, Cherry Foodarama along Shaw Blvd. has been my go-to supermarket. It provided me with all the basic needs plus a little more.
My 2 kids grew up going to Cherry Foodarama every time we do our weekly grocery as well. They know the entire place like the back of their hand. You can just imagine how bad we felt when the establishment finally closed down. But little did we know that Cherry would eventually be built again, serving its loyal customers just like before.
Just like a kid counting down the days till Christmas, we waited with much excitement and anticipation. Now, at long last… Cherry Shaw has finally reopened its doors under the management of SM Markets just last October 13!
Hello again, Cherry Shaw!
Blessing and ribbon cutting led by Mandaluyong Mayor Benhur Abalos, Mrs. Menchie Abalos and daughter Councilor Charisse Abalos.
All made up and ready to welcome everyone!

Diehard Cherry shoppers eagerly waited in line to enter the newly built Cherry Shaw. It seemed like nothing was going to stop these loyal customers from welcoming their long lost friend come rain or shine.
Shoppers of Cherry Shaw were glad to see their favorite supermarket looking better than ever.
