During our visit to Boracay last month, we stayed at Boracay Tropics which is located in Station 2 where the hotel is conveniently close to the action, but still comfortably away from the maddening crowd of the beach front.
When in Boracay Tropics, you need not go out to look for food. TropiCafe has got you covered.
You may opt to dine inside and get a spot on one of these cabanas.
You can also freely pick an area anywhere in the restaurant where you feel comfortable.
Enjoy delicious food at TropiCafe
At TropiCafe, there’s a wide selection of dishes ranging from Asian to Continental fare. For breakfast, bacon should not be missed!
For lunch or dinner, here are my TropiCafe favorites which somewhat reminds me of home-cooked goodness.
Salted Shrimps (Php360.00)
Deep fried spicy shrimps in onion, garlic and chili. The onions, garlic and seasoning were perfect. But in all honesty, I didn’t really find it spicy. Not even one bit. But I love how salty and peppery it was. A perfect beer match!
Pata Tim (Php425.00)
Tender boiled pork leg seasoned the old school way in soy sauce, anise and Chinese herbs. Delicious! The sauce was velvety smooth and sticks to the back of the spoon so I enjoyed licking it off.
For some sweets, try TropiCafe’s Turon de Boracay (Php80.00).
Banana with jackfruit rolled in lumpia wrapper then drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds. A perfect dessert to end a filling dinner!
If you want to have dinner under the moonlight, TropiCafe can also easily set it up for you.
TropiCafe is perfect for laid back conversations over a drink or two, enjoying a couple of bottles over fun and laughter with friends or for enjoyable and filling meals while you catch up with family.
