Everytime I dine at Osaka Ohsho, it always, always makes me giddy like a child waiting to open her presents. Some of you may find it corny, but it’s true!
Osaka Ohsho always comes up with out of the box ideas to make one’s dining pleasure truly a meal to remember.
For example, just recently, Osaka Ohsho launched their All New Teppanyaki Festival!
The All New Teppanyaki Festival at Osaka Ohsho will surely excite you! It is meticulously prepared and cooked using an iron griddle – a cooking method that has long been used in Japanese cuisine.
Great dishes await at the All New Teppanyaki Festival at Osaka Ohsho
Keep in mind, though, that the All New Teppanyaki Festival at Osaka Ohsho is being offered for a limited time only. I am sure you are as excited as I was when I first heard about it! Without much ado, here are the delicious Teppanyaki dishes that are guaranteed to thrill you!
Salmon Bacon Teppanyaki (Php370.00)
The Norwegian pink salmon wrapped in honey cured belly bacon strips is ohsho addicting! The saltiness and a little fat from the bacon, together with fresh salmon and the sweetness from the classic Japanese teriyaki sauce, makes for a perfect bite everytime! Each element of this offering does not overpower the other flavors. Personally, this can be a tasty side dish or a main course partnered with Black Chahan (Php250.00).
Mixed Mushroom and Bacon Teppanyaki (Php310.00)
Mushroom and Bacon combined? Of course! 3 different kinds of mushrooms: Shiitake, Shimeji Brown and Eringi Japanese mushrooms plus asparagus spears wrapped in honey cured belly bacon strips served with Urinchi sauce. Yup! You read that right – BACON again! The combination of earthy flavors from the mushrooms, the clean taste provided by the asparagus and the acidity and slight tanginess given by the Urinchi sauce makes it perfect on the tastebuds! A must order when you try out the All New Teppanyaki Festival at Osaka Ohsho.
Bacon Cut Pork Belly Asparagus Teppanyaki (Php250.00)
Bacon and asparagus – these always hit the spot! Asparagus spears wrapped in thinly sliced pork belly and drizzled in teriyaki sauce. The sesame seeds give a nice nutty flavor that takes off a little of the sweetness from the sauce. My kind of comfort food!
Sake Beef Teppanyaki (Php330.00)
This has got to be my carnivore husband’s favorite! What was served during our visit, though, was a different cut of beef instead of sukiyaki slices but Osaka Ohsho used the same kinds of seasoning – Japanese sake, garlic and butter. The flavors of the 3 ingredients deliciously penetrates into each beef cube making it tasteful and juicy but still retaining the actual flavor of the beef.
The Lenten season may be over but the seafood feasting ain’t! Because at Osaka Ohsho, you can still feast on the freshest catch!
Ika Sugataki (Php250.00)
Ring-shaped fresh squid in spicy Japanese sauce, served with stir-fried mixed vegetables. This is one simple dish that I enjoyed eating. No-frills! Just honest to goodness, wonderfully seasoned squid in perfect chewy bites.
Prawn Teppanyaki (Php495.00)
Osaka Ohsho uses only the finest ingredients. For this one, they use premium Black Tiger Prawns cooked in the perfect doneness! Prepared in butter, garlic and wasabi mayo. A dish that I don’t want to share with anyone else!
Mixed Shellfish Teppanyaki (Php325.00)
Seafood lovers rejoice! Scallops, mussels and clams, all in one plate. All fresh, all beautifully cooked and seasoned perfectly in garlic and Japanese sake. It comes with sautéed mixed vegetables, too, to complete this healthy platter!
Sakana Matsuri (Fish Festival) Teppanyaki (Php420.00)
This platter of Norwegian pink salmon, Pacific Blue Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna steaks will surely delight you! For me, anything with butter and garlic is love! Add to that the freshness of each fare giving every dish that perfect texture and milky taste. Don’t forget to munch on those colorful asparagus spears, potatoes and carrots. It’s good for your body!
Osaka Ohsho has several thirst-quenching drinks perfect for this scorching summer! I tried their Japanese Milk Tea with Pearls (Php125.00) and absolutely loved it!
Just the right dose of sweetness with an ample amount of pearls, exactly the way I like it!
Don’t forget to order Osaka Ohsho’s bestselling Gyozas which is rapidly gaining acclaim and considered as the world’s number 1 gyoza!
Osaka Ohsho never disappoints.
So, don’t delay and experience the All New Teppanyaki Festival at Osaka Ohsho!
