When staying in a hotel, apart from having a spacious room or sleeping on the comfiest bed, I also look forward to good eats that can be experienced inside the establishment. It was a real delight to know that during our stay at Acacia Hotel Manila, they had delicious offerings by way of their very own variety of restaurants.
Acacia Hotel Manila actually has 4 restaurants – A Steakhouse, Acaci Buffet, The Lobby and the Treetop Lounge.
Acacia Hotel Manila’s “A Steakhouse” and more
A Steakhouse
This is Acacia Hotel Manila’s newest restaurant which serves mainly meat and seafood dishes. So, if you are one who loves steak, look no further!
At A Steakhouse, you can choose from their selection of soups, starters, salad, mains and even sandwiches and desserts.
Lobster Bisque
Rich, smooth and creamy with deliciously fresh lobster meat… Just how it should be!
Oysters Rockefeller
My all time favorite, generously topped with spinach and hollandaise sauce and baked to perfection. The smooth, buttery and mildly tangy hollandaise sauce just makes the overall taste of the dish enjoyable!
Ribeye Steak
Ribeye is my default choice when it comes to steak as it is one of the better cuts of beef. It is prepared upon order and served on a wooden board with mashed potatoes and your choice of 2 sauces. Even if I requested my steak to be cooked “medium well” (as I am not fond of seeing blood oozing out of meat), it was still good. The bearnaise sauce was velvety smooth but I preferred the peppercorn sauce better.
Parmesan and Truffle Fried Potatoes
Choosing from an assortment of trimmings to partner with my steak was difficult! But the truffle came out victorious! These hand-cut potatoes were sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Lovely!
Operating Hours:
Lunch: 12NN-2:30PM
Dinner: 6PM-10PM
The Lobby
Serves local and international cuisines from morning ‘til night.
I let my kids choose what they wanted to eat and these were their orders (I made sure to try their food as well.)
US Prime Tenderloin Steak
Look at that lovely thing! Tender with a buttery texture. Though generally, this part of beef is not as flavorful as other cuts, it was seasoned beautifully. It came with mushroom and baked potato, too, to complete the entire meal.
4 Cheese Pizza
How can you go wrong with a classic 4 cheese pizza? The Lobby’s version had thick and fluffy crust with Bleu cheese, mozzarella, emmental and brie making this pizza more delicious (my family and I love Bleu Cheese). For those who aren’t fans of Bleu Cheese, you may opt to have it changed.
Operating Hours:
12NN-12MN
Acaci Buffet
Serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This was the spread during our dinner and I only took photos of what I ate. There were so many choices!
