Last weekend, Jollibee celebrated National Kids Month by bringing the colorful and fun Jollitown to life at The Big Fun Event!
The Big Fun Event is a place where young ones can enjoy and experience how it feels to be in an actual Jollitown and not just simply seeing how it looks on television.
When we arrived after lunch, we noticed that there was still a long queue of kids with parents in tow, eagerly waiting to enter Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center.
I couldn’t blame them for being so giddy and excited! Even my husband and I, together with our not so little kids were just as excited to see what was in store for us!
Ready for The Big Fun Event at Jollitown
Here we are, ready to have fun!
By the entrance, you can easily see a poster showing the schedule of activities. Great! This way, guests are made aware of when the highlights of the day are about to happen.
The whole venue was delightfully decorated with giant inflatables allowing kids to play safely. Look at this humongous Jollibee Bob House placed right smack at the entrance of the venue, filled with kids happily jumping around.
The Rainbow Slide is another popular area for the kids.
There are different play zones also, just like this Art Wall complete with paint and brushes where li’l ones can show off their artistic and creative talents.
There was one area that I was actually dying to try out… The Ding Dang Dong Clingers! I was willing to give the attendant my Jolly meal and a kiss just to be able to wear the velcro suit, jump up and down and stick myself to the wall! OMG! I wanted to experience this amusement so bad! Haha! Watch the short video and see how fun it was!
By 2:30pm, TinTin Bersola went up on stage for some storytelling.
As we went around Jollitown, we saw some super-duper-sized Jollibee food replicas. My not-so-little kids were just so happy to hug this gigantic Cone Twirl! I bet they were wishing it was real!
Oh! I also noticed a LOT of “young once” having their pictures taken in this very area. They were having an extremely jolly time that day just like my husband! LOL.
Goofing around for hours with your kid or running after them will definitely make you hungry! Good thing Jollitown features an area called, Foodville, located in the middle of the entire venue where you can eat and rest at the same time.
This was where the Chickenjoy Bucket booth was situated and where we claimed our Regular Yum and drink. Cute!
A few short moments after, Jollibee appeared and the kids just went wild seeing him! I was also able to get a quick snap of Twirlie the Star Performer and Popo the Gym Coach who were busy having their own photo-ops with other visitors.
So, moms and dads… if you want your kids to have fun in future Jollibee events like The Big Fun Event, sign them up to become a Jollibee Kids Club member. Check out http://www.jollibeekidsclub.com/site/jointhejkc/1 to know how.
