Milo has always been a staple in our household for as long as I can remember. I enjoy it all sorts of ways – I drink it hot, sometimes cold, or nibble the yummy powder straight from the pack. Not only is it sweet but it also greatly adds an energy boost that anyone can surely use especially on a hot and tiring day. I’m sure a lot of you have your own ways on how you enjoy Milo.
If you’re looking to find newer ways to enjoy this delicious energy drink, look no further.
Tokyo Bubble Tea has come up with 3 incredible Milo concoctions for their Milo Series starting this June. All 3 variants are served with Tokyo Bubble Tea’s signature soft and chewy bubbles, coffee jelly bits and freshly brewed tea.
My favorite of among the batch is the Matcha Milo Milk Tea (Large: Php155.00 / Medium: Php145.00)
The drink is a mixture of matcha green tea, milk, tea and Milo powder. I am not a fan of matcha because of the bitterness and grassy taste it is characterized to have. But surprisingly, I really liked it! The bitterness from the matcha was slightly subdued by the milk while the sweetness from the Milo powder gave this drink a deliciously unique character that I just can’t resist.
Two more Milo concoctions that you shouldn’t pass up:
JCC Milo Milk Tea (Large: Php165.00 / Medium: Php155.00)
Japanese cheesecake cream topped with coffee jelly and Milo powder.
Almond Milo Milk Tea (Large: Php155.00 / Medium: Php145.00)
Almond, milk, black tea and Milo powder.
Tokyo Bubble Tea does not only serve really delicious drinks. They also have several dishes that you can order and enjoy with your tea drinks like this Shinjuku-Style Buffalo Wings (Php265.00).

For your party needs, a Function Room on the 2/F of their Katipunan branch can readily accommodate 80 persons.
As of this writing, I am craving for Matcha Milo Milk Tea. Looks like I’ll be going to their San Juan branch to get my Milo fix tomorrow. Try it for yourselves, guys… Promise, you’ll be hooked! 😉
