During our short stay in Selangor, we were also invited to the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur for a courtesy call to the Deputy Chief of Mission, Dary Macaraeg. Ambassador Ed Malaya was in the Philippines during our visit.
We had a buffet dinner plus non-stop wine at the Formal Hall which used to be the embassy’s pantry and library.
A model plane of the AirAsia Zest Airbus A320 was handed over to Deputy Chief of Mission, Dary Macaraeg.
And since we are already in Kuala Lumpur, a quick visit to the The Petronas Twin Towers was in order.
This structure was completed in 1996 and was the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004.
Of course, our mandatory couple shot! Thank you to Jim Paredes for lying on the ground just to take our picture!
That’s it! Hope you were able to learn a thing or two about Selangor, Malaysia.
