Bettinna Carlos, Ryza Cenon and Chynna Ortaleza are not just pretty faces that you see in GMA-7‘s soap operas or billboards along EDSA or in glossy magazines. These beautiful ladies are budding entrepreneurs as well. Their hobbies turned business are now becoming famous to everyone with a sweet tooth! I, together with some food bloggers were able to sample some of their delicious creations in GMA 7’s first ever food blogger event, “Food for the Heart“.
There were so much desserts to choose from but I was eyeing Bettinna Carlos‘ Nutella Rocks because I heard it was selling like pancakes! I first learned about this sinful treat was when she was featured in one of GMA News TV’s show.
At first glance, it looked rock hard and dry-like. Hence, the name. But once you bite into this Nutella Rock, you’ll be asking for more! It’s chewy, delightfully sweet, moist and very satisfying. This would be lovely to eat with a glass of cold milk on the side, don’t you think?
Bettinna’s Dulce de Leche Pecan Cheesecake Cup was also a hit.
Apart from that, she also gave everyone a sample of her Red Velvet Brownie with White Chocolate Frosting for Valentine’s Day. Truly Kapuso!
Bettinna Carlos is the owner of Baked Bites that can be bought at selected Moonleaf Teashops (The Columns, Ayala Makati branch, and Mckinley Hill, The Fort branch), and at Rain Tree Teapresso Blends at White Plain, Quezon City.

Ryza Cenon on the other hand, whose true passion is cooking and baking, can sure make delicious indulgences even without any formal culinary training!
This Red Velvet Whoppie Pie with fluffy frosting sandwiched in-between the two red velvet cookies has just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of heat from the cayenne pepper.
I love the flavor combination. Such a delicious creation! Another perfect partner to a glass of milk.
I love coconut and Ferrero Rocher so much that this Coconut Ferrero cupcake sent me straight to the moon!
She also made Lasagna, Mini Spinach Pizza and Buffalo Wings for something savory.
Ryza Cenon cooks and bakes to satisfy requests and orders from her close friends as of the moment. But if you want to have a taste of her sweet delights, you may send her a direct message via her social media accounts:

Amusingly, Chynna Ortaleza, who actually doesn’t bake at all, tried to whip up something in the oven for the first time and was able to come up with something delicious! Surprisingly (even to herself), it tasted great! She fondly named it Cherry Pizza and Organic Banana Prune Walnut Bread.
Her Cherry Pizza using tart as a base, had fresh crushed macadamias on top of the cherry jam. For someone who doesn’t cook nor bake, her concoctions were wonderful! It was very creative. While her Organic Banana Prune Walnut Bread reminds me of a Christmas Fruit Cake sans the rum. Next time I eat this, I’ll top it with vanilla ice cream!

Trivia: Ryza and Chynna who happen to be the best of friends, will be future business partners as well.
It was a sweet-filled afternoon with these Kapuso stars! They were joined by their good friend, Benjamin Alves, for support. But moreso, he obviously enjoyed and indulged in every sinful confection.
Watch out for the food stalls of these GMA-7 artists in some upcoming food bazaars this year!
