Goldilocks Cake Plant Tour (Part 1)!

Just recently, Goldilocks opened their “Goldilocks Cake City” located in the company’s Shaw Blvd. headquarters in Mandaluyong.

Goldilocks Cake City is Goldilocks’ one-stop event place for your kid’s special occasion.

“From a full menu, to amazing cakes and pastries, to a theme that can’t be beat. Goldilocks now provides a venue for you to enjoy all these and more with friends and family.”Ms. Pinky Yee (Marketing Director)

We all know that Goldilocks creates delicious and amazing cakes – yummy baked goodness that we grew up with. I, for one, am a cake lover and most of the cakes served during my birthdays are cakes from Goldilocks. Even my children’s birthday cakes are ordered (or bought) from Goldilocks. So, when I was invited again, this time for the Goldilocks Cake Plant tour, I happily confirmed! I was like a child waiting to attend a birthday party!

The Goldilocks Cake Plant tour was made even more exciting as we were joined by the Goldilocks couple – celebrity endorsers, Mr. & Mrs. Ryan and Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo who served as our tour guides!

They made the tour lively and fun! Official pictures of our cake plant tour will be on a separate blog entry (Watch out for that real soon!).

For now, I will be highlighting Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo’s “Goldilocks Chocolate PB (Peanut Butter) Banana Supreme”. A cake that she personally designed and made passionately right in front of us.

The ingredients used are Judy Ann’s favorites…

Cashew since she grew up in Antipolo
Banana with peanut butter which she craved for the most during her pregnancy days.

It’s the story of her childhood and motherhood combined.

Here, in the image below, she is about to re-create her baked masterpiece for select members of the media – starting with layers of Banana Butter cake alternating with Black Velvet Cake.

Judy Ann sprinkling her creation with Praline Cashews, coating it with peanut mousse fillings and covering it with Vanilla cream. YUM!

Decorating her cake with dark, white and milk chocolates and piping the banana whipped cream.

Drizzling some chocolate syrup…

Voila! Cake Creations by Judy Ann!

Joining her is her better half, Mr. Ryan Agoncillo and Goldilocks Marketing Director, Ms. Pinky Yee.

Here is the couple personally slicing and serving guests another version of Goldilocks Chocolate PB (Peanut Butter) Banana Supreme cake for samplng.

Different layers of goodness! What a thing of beauty, huh?

We were also given a box of the same cake to bring home together with a “Decorate-Your-Cake” (DYC) package. Yay!

This limited edition cake will be released on Nov. 15 until December of this year.

To be continued
