If you don’t know where to eat, you’ll never go wrong with “House Of Minis”. This is were we ended up during our father’s day celebration last June 17.
“House Of Minis” never changed their facade. During the 80’s, this was pretty much how they also looked! Pretty much the perfect example for the saying, “Why fix something that isn’t broken?”.
It was jam-packed from 12noon until 3pm. We had to wait for 30 grueling minutes (as we were all starving!) to get a table!
So while waiting, the boys made fun of the mannequins at the store in front of “House Of Minis”.
Ok, enough of the horsing around! Lol.
We were finally called by our server and led us to our table. Our usual orders are Porterhouse and Tenderloin Tips. But this time ’round, we decided to try their Swiss Steak with Cheese Sauce. Also inclusive of each order are the following: soup, rolls with slices of butter, coleslaw and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. By the way, steaks can be ordered in 2 different sizes – “mini” and “regular”, prepared and grilled in their open-kitchen. Another area which they never changed!
