5 Things I Love About Tagaytay:

1. Location – Easily reached (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours) from Metro Manila using private or public transportation via Coastal Road and the South Superhighway.  You may also take the Santa Rosa Exit from Manila.  Imus, Dasmarinas and Silang Cavite are alternate routes as well.Tagaytay

2.  Climate – Being an urbanista and a mom myself, Tagaytay’s clean air and cool climate can be a wondrous treat once in a while (since I can’t do it everyday).  I can always count on it’s wonderful weather during impromptu visits.  It is also an excellent venue for weddings, picnics and breathtaking sightseeings.

3. Scenery – I am a fan of weekend getaways.  For whatever reason,  Tagaytay still gives me that excitement I felt when I was a kid.  During my younger years, when I want to be alone, I would drive all the way to this place just to de-stress.

4. Restaurants – So many establishments to choose from.  Fine dining.  Casual dining.  Down to the simplest “turo-turo” (an informal side-street cafeteria).  Name it, they have it.Leslie's - Tagaytay

5. Pasalubong – Lots of “pasalubong” (souvenir) for the waiting Manilenos.

So there.  How about you… what do you love about Tagaytay?
