For this particular Bohol trip, I will be featuring the beautiful Amorita Resort. There’s plenty to love about this luxury resort hotel, so if you haven’t been here yet, read on as I enumerate the many things I discovered about Amorita Resort that I fell in love with.
Amorita Resort – A truly unforgettable paradise
Amorita Resort is a beautiful luxury resort in Panglao Island, Bohol.
Hidden on the southern edge of Alona Beach – on top of a limestone cliff, Amorita Resort provides oasis, comfort and an idyllic hideaway for tourists, families, honeymooners and even groups.
To get an awesome view of Alona Beach, the Cliffside View Deck is the perfect spot. But even if you just walk around, the beauty is everywhere. Even during rainy days, you can still appreciate its charm and elegance.
Honestly, I was hoping to be able to stay in one of Amorita Resort’s villas, unfortunately, it was under renovation during my visit. But when I saw our suite, my jaw literally dropped in awe! The place was absolutely impressive! A spacious 1-bedroom Sea View Suite with receiving & dining areas and a huge bathroom. Every aspect of the room was perfect!
The floor-to-ceiling windows constantly gave us a great view of the sea and horizon.
1 King bed / 2 Flat-screen cable TVs / Individually controlled air-conditioning unit / Bath amenities with organic soap + shampoo / Rainfall shower with hot and cold options / Private balcony / Outdoor tub / Mini-bar / Tea and coffee making facilities / Complimentary water / Twice-daily housekeeping services / In-room safety deposit vault / Complimentary Wi-Fi access
I was still admiring the room when I walked out to the balcony and saw the outdoor tub… I suddenly shrieked in delight! Imagine taking a dip in the tub while enjoying a view this beautiful everyday.
Amorita Resort’s pool overlooks the ocean. Apart from taking a swim or afternoon dip, this is a great spot where you can lay back and catch up on your reading, relax or just bask in the sun with a glass of your favorite drink. Fancy!
For a good selection of gastronomic delights, Saffron Restaurant won’t disappoint! Saffron is just a couple of steps away from the pool, allowing you to have a stunning view each time you dine whether day or night.
They take pride in serving Boholano heritage dishes using locally available ingredients alongside a great continental cuisine spread.
Craving for some tapas, pintxos or paellas? Tomar has got you covered! They even serve wine and whiskey or any other drink you may want to pair your tapas with. Believe me when I tell you that Tomar serves amazing tapas!
Amorita Resort’s service with a smile and that signature Filipino hospitality will definitely make you want to come back. And oh! Service is commendable! You won’t regret making it your home the next time you’re in Bohol.
As always, my Bohol sojourn was not enough. I guess I will never get tired of this paradise which I pretty much already call my second home.
Bohol still remains my favorite local destination to date and will always look forward to coming back again and again.
