House Of Wagyu is nothing new to steak lovers. In fact, it is one of the best places to get your Australian Wagyu. Craving for some Rib Eye? They have it. Porterhouse? not a problem! Tenderloin, perhaps? They’ve got you covered! They even have non-steak dishes.

To warm your hungry tummies and prepare you for the awesomeness of your steak.

For starters, order this platter of Oyster Rockefeller (Php450.00).

Perfectly-sized fresh oysters with a mixture of finely chopped spinach, bacon and cheese. Make sure to squeeze a wedge of lime for a hint of acidity. Your perfect appetizer with a glass of wine, perhaps?

These shrimps are cooked perfectly. Pink in color, tender with just the right zing.

Try any of these refreshing drinks, too! Lemonade or Calamansi.

If you love veggies, I recommend House Of Wagyu’s Caesar Salad (Php245.00).

Nothing really extraordinary about this American classic, but what I like about it is its fresh, chilled and crisp Romaine leaves. One of my pet peeves is having to eat freshly washed greens without even patting it dry before serving. House of Wagyu serves their veggies just the way I like it!

Another “must try” salad is the Shrimp & Scallop in Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing (Php395.00).

Strawberries can be enjoyed in a variety of ways and that includes making a delicious dressing out of it. This salad drizzled with strawberry vinaigrette dressing is the bomb! This veggie dish was an absolute crowd favorite that night. The sweet tarty flavor that tasted almost like a smoothie was amazing. It went perfectly well with the shrimps and scallops. It makes for a refreshingly cool dish during summertime, too!

And now for the STEAKS! Those incredibly mouthwatering Australian Wagyu steaks!

These deliciously marbled Wagyu beef, all ready to be grilled and feasted on were presented to us. What a sight to behold!

This is the best all around steak for me and probably the most ordered, too. House of Wagyu’s Ribeye is rich, juicy, with a really nice beefy flavor and high fat content. I just love it! Perfectly marbled. I toasted some of the fat until it became deliciously crispy! It’s crazy good.

Grade 8 Tenderloin (220 grams: Php3,050.00 / 350 grams: Php4,750.00)

This is the most tender among all the other beef cuts. It is lean, compact and has an incredible buttery texture. Though this steak has a low fat content, it still has a succulent flavor. If you are cautious of your fat intake, this is the kind of steak cut for you.

Grade 6 Porterhouse (750 grams: Php3,750.00)

With Porterhouse, you get the best of both worlds. You have a little bit of tenderloin and strip steaks. It is semi-lean with just the right fat content. So if you are undecided, you can’t go wrong with this.

Grade 8 Top Sirloin (220 grams: Php1,450.00 / 350 grams: Php2,150.00 / 500 grams: Php4,650.00)

This cut has a little fat content. Though lean, it is juicy especially when cooked the right way. When properly cooked, the flavors of the beef comes out spectacularly.

What’s in a “Grade”?
The meat quality scores are determined in terms of marbling, colour, brightness, firmness, texture and quality of fat. That being said, you get quality Australian Wagyu at House Of Wagyu.
