Yesterday, we were invited to join the kick-off of “An Awesome Secret Foodies Tour” at Tuscany, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio. We sampled 20 outrageously delicious dishes in 8 interesting and amazing restaurants for 3 hours!
Let me take you to a gastronomic adventure and see what we were raving about on Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms that night…
This “wine meets street food” concept has an extensive selection of affordable wines from all over the world. Imagine Moscato being paired with balut and kikiam. To my surprise, it worked lovely together! The sweetness of this wine balances the oil and salt that these 2 street food gives. Or try a glass of L’ Escargot Pinot Noir that has a fruity flavor and aroma and pair it with your balut and squid. It’s a little sweet that gives off a lively and refreshing finish.
They also have a wine vending machine! Watch the video below on how you can “get your wine on” using their Enomatic Wine Solution. I was amazed!
TRATTORIA POGGIO ANTICO
Prosciutto con Melone (Prosciutto with Melon), Crespella del Poggio Antico (Crepe stuffed with ham and cheese), Pomodoro e Mozzarella Crostini (Mozzarella Crostini) and Oyster Sur Pate di Fegato (Oyster and Liver Paté).
B&T MEXICAN KITCHEN
Our platter consists of Chipotle Chicken pizza, Mango Glazed Habanero Chicken, Taquitos Especial and salad.
Horchata drink made from almond, rice and cinnamon. This drink is perfect to have by the beach – light, smooth and refreshing!
L.E.S. (Lower East Side) BAGELS
Bacon Cheddar in Everything Bagel and Sundried Tomato Basil in Sesame Bagel. Filling and wonderful!
Baby Sauceria Burger – Tuyo Bleu Cheese Spread, Furikaki Bun and Baked Potato Wedges.
Feta Tomato Cilantro Coca (Catalan Flatbread Pizza) with feta cheese, zucchini and cilantro. Perfect for vegetarians or if you just want to eat light. I will most definitely come back for this!
US T-Bone that was cooked and seasoned perfectly with roasted vegetables.
Poutine: Thick-cut fries smothered with beef gravy and cheese curds.
Organic Vanilla Maple and Candied Bacon Ice Cream that I like. It’s sweet and creamy with just a hint of saltiness. Perfect!
Ended our food tour with this cute Red Velvet Cupcake.
