Wakeskating at the Banaue Rice Terraces?

Has anyone of you heard of (or already have watched) the Wakeskating video of 2 foreigners, Brian Grubb and Dominik Preisner, at the Banaue Rice Terraces?

Wakeskating is a water sport and an adaptation of wakeboarding that employs a similar design of board manufactured from maple or from fibreglass. Unlike wakeboarding, the rider is not bound to the board in any way, which gives the sport its own unique challenges.

Personally, I am against it. Doing any sport activity risks ruining the terraces’ natural beauty. The Banaue Rice Terraces was designed for planting rice and NOT for “recreational stunts”.

For the benefit of those who haven’t seen the video yet, you may watch it below…

Just sharing my 2 cents.
